THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"

There comes a time in your life when you have to stop blaming things on your past, and stop blaming things on your parents. You have to pick yourself up and say "Whatever I do from now on is up to me. If I succeed, I get all the credit, and if I fail, it is all my fault."

You should have pretty clothes when you are young and thin and look good in them, not when you are old and fat and can afford them.

Disciplining children is like taking out the trash. If you don't do it now, don't complain later that it smells bad.

If people can smell you from 6 feet away, it is considered offensive. That includes perfume and cologne.
